NGC 3718 is a LINER galaxy classified SBa/P.  NGC 3718 has a warped gas/dust disk and an active galactic nuclei.  Note the two tidal tails, Krips, et.al, (2005) suggest an interaction with NGC 3729.  Distance is 54 million light years.
 

Note the grouping of small galaxies to the right of  NGC3718, They are a group of interacting galaxies some distance beyond NGC 3718 (300 million light years).  From the top they are PGC 35601, PGC 35615, PGC 35618, PGC 35620 and PGC 35631.
