NGC 4365 is a type E3 galaxy, surface brightness is 13, red shift distance is approximately 55 Mly and extinction is 0.0655.  The brighter knots within the halo and most of the dim stellar object surrounding the galaxy are distant galaxies, the only star in the Simbad plot is at 2:00 o'clock position.
