NGC 4839 is classified E and is at a red shift distance of 328 Mly. It is surrounded by galaxies comprising the Coma Berenices cluster, NGC 4839 is in fact falling into the Coma cluster and is being stripped of material due to ram pressure (Mahjan, et.al., 2010).
