NGC 6012 is classified as R Sbab With both a nuclear ring and a bar driven resonant ring with on going star formation, in addition, outer portions of the galaxy show condensations in the faint arms.  Surface brightness is 12.8 magnitude, distance is 89 Mly.   Note the opposing outflow at the bar ends,  Ratay mentioned the outflow but did not speculate as to cause.
