IC 1795  (the Northern Bear) is a bright nebula described by Burnham as "..brightest portion of vast neby I.1805" and in the 'Deep Sky Field Guide' to U2000 as "Separated from NGC896 by a narrow dark lane aligned N-S.  It is brightest at the N end of the dark lane and along the irregular N extension."
