The Sharpless  objects in this image are most likely water maser driven and are the result of past starburst activity within the ISM.  Note the small reflection nebula at lower right.

The vertical line is a satellite moving through one of the luminance frames.

This is definitely an area requiring  a revisit with a much longer exposure time.
